About Dare to Lead...

About this workshop...

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.

The Dare to Lead workshop will focus on how Brené Brown’s 4 key courage to lead skills  – Rumbling with Vulnerability, Living into our Values, BRAVING Trust, and Learning to Rise – align with what is needed for change management in public health. This workshop will be interactive and experiential.

As the public health landscape continues to change it will require people to lean into their courage to lead, regardless of their position. Innovative Leadership Strategies approaches leadership as a behavior, not a position or role. Therefore, anyone at any time can lead. Managing change requires courage, leadership from all levels, connections, and systems thinking.

This one-day workshop will be customized to the specific needs of the public health workshop event. Although it will touch on all four skills, it does not meet the 16-hour Dare to Lead program certificate requirements.
