Public Health and Water Quality
Water has a profound influence on health. A minimum amount is required for consumption each day for survival, but the influence of water on health goes far beyond this as water is a principal medium for disease prevention. Iowa’s water quality issues are complex and severe. But for the health of Iowans, our solutions must collective. We must promote the basic right of all Iowans to safe and affordable drinking water.
