I serve on the board of directors for the Iowa Tobacco Prevention Alliance and am engaged in volunteer opportunities with the Cowles Montessori Parents Group and the Beaverdale Neighborhood Association. I also volunteer as a grant reviewer for a number of health foundations. Previously I served on the board of directors for the Friends of the Franklin Avenue Library.
