1. Protecting public health funding: Urge Congress to protect critical funding for public health service agencies including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Health Re­sources and Services Administration.

2. Protecting public health funding in the Affordable Care Act: Encourage Congress to protect the Prevention and Public Health Fund, the first national commitment to public health and preven­tion of its kind, created under the 2010 health reform law.

3. Reauthorization of the Farm Bill: Urge Congress to ensure the Farm Bill improves public health through preventing hunger and improving nutritional food options.
