Virginia Tonelli is a Program manager with the Iowa Primary Care Association (Iowa PCA). She works on several important projects at the Iowa PCA including the Iowa Collaborative Safety Net Provider Network, implementation of the CDC-funded Community Transformation Grant, the Iowa Care expansion, and manages the Iowa Association of Rural Health Clinics. She has also served as Advocacy Coordinator for the Community HIV/Hepatitis Advocates of Iowa Network (CHAIN) with over three years in a health policy role.
Ms. Tonelli is co-chair of the IPHA Advocacy Committee and co-chaired the IPHA 2011 Legislative Fall Forum. She served on the AIDS Project of Central Iowa's Red Hot Party Fundraising Committee and was awarded the Partnership for Better Health “Triple Solution Champion of the Year” in 2011. She holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa and a Masters of Health Care Administration from Des Moines University.
