Pam Deichmann has worked in public health and health care the last 30 years in various public health roles across Iowa. This included such thinks as providing public health nursing for prevention clinics; home care visits; infectious disease follow ups; senior health clinics; MI MR DD casement services; and as a County Public Health Agency Administrator. In addition she has participated in such statewide public health efforts as Healthy Iowans 2010, Public Health Modernization, and Tobacco Free Iowa.
Ms. Deichmann has an undergraduate degree in Nursing and graduate degree in Public Health. She has served in numerous roles within IPHA over the years; and including as an active member the last 10 years on the Advocacy Committee. Pam and her husband, Craig, live in Winterset, Iowa. She has had the opportunity to see how much IPHA has evolved over the last ten years to define and establish the association's goals; and to become an effective advocate for public health issues. She has witnessed the dedication and hard work of its members, and will continue to support these efforts in the upcoming year.
